Ok, now we're having fun!

Hello all,

Another quick entry to keep all of you up to date on the latest goings on here at TPD!  The last few weeks have been crazy exciting and fun!  And so many changes and additions, I wanted to take a few minutes and just highlight them for you in case you missed any!

The show is going great!  I've created a new intro and outro for the show with new music and a professional voiceover!  So far, the response has been great, and I'm really happy with how it came out!

Matt Candela (Website) has designed a new logo for the show, that I'm sure you've seen by now, and it's awesome!  I can't tell you how happy I am with how it came out!  I've ordered new business cards, some stickers and even a Fracture. If you don't know what that is, you totally should.. check out their site.

Because of Matt's great work, I am offering a first run of TPD T-Shirts through TeeSpring. The first round of orders close today, so if you want one, you must order now! Order a TPD Shirt Here!

With all these new fun things, I've decided to re-brand what used to be my personal Instragram into a show account! The link is in the black bar above! Follow me and I'll putting up pics of all these things when they arrive.

And the interviews, oh the interviews!  Myke Hurley, Phoebe Judge, Dave Maier, and Sara Stewart have been amazing conversations and I'm so thankful that they've all taken the time to talk to me! As always, I've got even more great guests coming!

And speaking of the best shows, I've even had the good fortune to be a guest on several shows lately. Check out my guest appearances page to go to all of those episodes!  I've actually gotten talk movies, public speaking, relationships and of course, podcasting!  So if you want to hear even more of my ranting and raving, now you can!  And subscribe to all of these shows!

It's getting better and the best is yet to come, folks!  We are approaching 1,400 followers on Twitter and people are really talking about TPD now!  Tell a friend, share an episode, and rate and review on Itunes and Stitcher!

And a HUGE THANK YOU to YOU!  For listening, for reading, for just being cool!

Some thoughts, reflections and plans...

Hello everyone!

It's been several weeks since my last blog entry and I wanted to take a moment and give you an idea how things are going.  If you're reading this, you know the episode I released today is an interview with Phoebe Judge from Criminal (part of Radiotopia).  I tried for several weeks to connect with Phoebe and after finding a time that worked we we're able to conduct our interview.  I'm a huge fan of Criminal and Radiotopia and for Phoebe to agree to talk to me, it's one of the best feelings I've had so far with this show.  I can't thank her enough for taking a chance (she said she hadn't even listen to the show yet, due to her busy schedule) and joining me for what I feel was a great chat!

Also, this week, I was a guest on TechFan with Tim Robertson and David Cohen (link on my Guest Appearances page). This was also a huge thrill for me, as I've been listening to TechFan for several years and to be able to join those gentleman for a show was a 'mini-dream' come true!  And I said that on the show, too!  Tim was way too kind and even included my name in the episode name, and it really gave me a thrill when I saw that show come through my episode list!

And folks, I've got even more big plans and goals for the show in the coming weeks/months.  I'm working on improving my intro/outro to the show.  Exploring a potential logo/album art upgrade. Also, I've got a new recommendation based show coming very soon.  It's already been recorded and will be out before ya know it! But there's big news with that episode, too, but you'll have to wait to hear that one!  And more guests are coming too!  Hopefully some other big names that I'll be so excited to talk to.  But, as the show gets bigger, have no fear, folks.  I don't intend, in any way, to abandon the indy podcasters.  Heck, I'm one myself.  My hope is, just like I've always done with the show recommendations, is to bring you interviews that reflect both the big guys and the little guys, too!  If a host is doing great work, I commit to bring it to you!

The show has now passed 1,200 followers on Twitter and it is my honor to have you all along for the ride.  I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed doing this, and I'm so hyped to bring you what's next!

TPD 27 - Phoebe Judge from Criminal

I was joined this week by Phoebe Judge, host and co-creator of the spectacular show, Criminal, part of Radiotopia.  Phoebe tells us about the origin of Criminal, the backstory behind some of my favorite episodes and some of the future things you can expect from the show!
